Missions should maintain a focus on the field and on their effectiveness, but too often find themselves having to spend too much time dealing with internal issues, especially technological ones. Computers, as the fastest evolving technology, are often impossible for missions to remain up-to-date on. LightSys is dedicated to carefully observing both current and future computer technologies, balancing effectiveness with costs so our clients do not have to carry that burden. LightSys has a technological focus, so our clients can maintain a missions focus.

Our Technological Focus....

Our technology focus has been on internet and web-based information systems compatible with browser-based client software on a wide variety of platforms. With the advent of so many sophisticated and freely available tools such as Linux, Apache, and more, a low-cost yet high-effectiveness information solution is right at our fingertips. Our challenge is to apply these technologies, using a powerful LightSys application server system, to effectively and economically meet the needs in missions.

We also work with a wide variety of information technologies, focusing primarily on those systems based on open standards and benefitting from an open-source development model, although we also have expertise in the use and application of many other technologies, and seek to bless our clients regardless of the types of platforms they are using.
